Each photo session is unique and different, just like each pet. My philosophy is to create a safe and stress free environment and photograph your pets being themselves, whether it be sitting on the couch, bed, their favorite blanket, looking out the window, enjoying nature, against a simple background or bonding with you. I like to keep things simple, spontaneous, “go with the flow” and have fun. My goal is to connect with your pet and capture their spirit and that “look” you know and love. The typical photo session lasts about 1.5 hours.
The easiest way is to contact me and I will follow up with a phone call. We will discuss location, lighting, your pet’s personality and the best way to photograph your pet.
I’ve photographed animals in all kinds of spaces, including shelters and small rooms. I do not need a lot of space. If your home does not have good light, I will use a softbox to create beautiful light. The ideal spot to photograph your pet is a place where it feels safe and secure.
The session fee covers the photo shoot, in-home consultation, post processing/retouching and my talent and experience. Prints are extra.
I offer a variety of print products. My favorites are standouts and canvas wraps. Both are frameless and a beautiful way to display prints in your home. I also offer custom matting and framing, (if you prefer more traditional prints) mini books, a la cart prints and print collections. I will bring samples to your home so you can see them before you place your order. Prints start at $25. Contact me for a complete product and price list.
I specialize in Contemporary and Fine Art Pet Photography and love capturing quiet moments. It’s those moments that are the most revealing and intimate in my opinion. I’m a fiend for beautiful light and simplicity. I have a very unique style and look that sets me apart from other photographers.
Approximately two weeks after the photo session, I will send you a link to your own private gallery where you can view your proofs on-line. All proofs are professionally processed and retouched.
I have three dogs and two cats – all rescues. I am a firm believer in adopting animals from shelters and rescue organizations. There are so many animals in need of homes. Please adopt from a shelter the next time you are ready to add a pet to your family.
No I don’t, but I can recommend photographers that do.
